In conjunction with the team’s response to the appeals and needs of #older_people and their families, physiotherapists work with precautionary and preventive measures to provide physiotherapy services to the #older_people; to restore and maintain their mobility, balance, and physical activity levels.
The team-work and volunteers started in the #El-Weddad_response project, to meet the needs of the older people and their families through the distribution of preventive health packages and food parcels; in contributing to minimizing the effects of #covid_19 on them, while taking precautionary and preventive measures to keep the team and #older_people safe.
With all precautionary and preventive measures, community counselling sessions for #older_people are provided by social psychologist Nidal al-Helou to raise public awareness about safety and prevention methods for older people from #covid_19.
